LOWELL — Affordable Housing Trust Fund board reviews $500,000 loan to Bridge Club. The board, chaired by Eric Nelson, heard from City of Lowell Auditor Kelly Oakes regarding the $500,000 loan to Robert Cox's Bridge Club of Greater Lowell for a 267 Pawtucket Street project creating 29 permanent affordable housing units with supportive services for Veterans. The loan carries a 30-year amortization with monthly payments of $1,848.10, with first payment due April 1, 2026.

Austin Batt, Deputy CFO, reported Cox intends to repay early using outside funding sources, targeting mid-summer to early fall. The board voted to research third-party loan servicers for future payment collection.
