Lowell Board of Assessors approves FY27 property abatements, commits $1.26 million in motor vehicle excise warrants. Deputy Chief Assessor Ryan E. Rondeau presided over a May 5 meeting attended by Assessor Amy Lombardo and S.
Keough, where the board unanimously approved 10 FY27 three-part abatement applications and unanimously voted to deny two motor vehicle excise abatement applications. One FY26 real estate abatement previously denied was approved under settlement, and one Clause 22 application was rejected for late filing. Excise commitments totaled $1,258,770.21 in MVE26C2 and $23.06 in MVE25C8.
