Lowell Board of Assessors approves routine tax exemption applications. Chief Assessor Ellen Brideau, Deputy Chief Assessor Ryan Rondeau, and Assessor Amy Lombardo approved motor vehicle excise tax abatements for the week ended April 3, with no exemptions denied. The board also processed FY26 real estate and personal property abatements, resulting in 6 denials and 5 conditional approvals, and unanimously approved 1 FY27 3ABC application and 1 clause 41C application.
