LOWELL — Board of Assessors processes tax abatement applications in administrative session. Chief Assessor Ellen M. Brideau, Deputy Chief Assessor Ryan E.

Rondeau, and Assessor Amy Lombardo approved motor vehicle excise tax abatements for April 6-10 with no denials and processed 20 real estate and personal property abatements for fiscal year 2026, approving 7 while denying 13. The Board unanimously approved one FY27 3ABC application and voted to negotiate a settlement with a tax representative over a previously denied application.
