LOWELL — City Council Rules & Election Law Subcommittee votes to bring Law Department to neighborhood meetings on mayoral selection. Chairman Juran, Councilors McDonough and Scott unanimously approved the motion to request the City Manager deploy the Law Department to provide information on mayoral selection processes as Lowell weighs charter modification and Consent Decree revision.
