Lowell Conservation Commission approves 11-home North Billerica Road subdivision project with environmental conditions. The Commission voted 3-1 to allow FTO Realty Trust to subdivide the property into 11 single-family homes within the wetland buffer zone, requiring preservation of two existing trees on the property line and marking of the wetland boundary. Resident Stacey Decker opposed the project citing climate concerns and potential homeowner impacts; Commissioner Kristin Ross-Sitcawich voted against the approval.
Chairman Brad Buitenhuys recused himself from the 4-member vote.
