Lowell Conservation Commission approves four wetland permits, rescinds two enforcement orders. Chair Brad Buitenhuys and a seven-member quorum voted unanimously on six applications affecting flood plains and protected buffer zones. The Vatt Khmer Lowell and Khmer American Cultural Center won rescission of an enforcement order after planting 32 new trees at 48 Townsend Avenue in compliance with prior commission directives.
The New England Power Company received approval for accessway improvements and stormwater work at 32-41 Reiss Avenue with a condition requiring documentation of tree removals. The commission continued MG Architects LLC to February 11 and approved an emergency water main repair certificate for the Department of Public Works at 110 Industrial Avenue.
