Lowell Conservation Commission approves two wetland projects, continues affordable housing development. Chair Brad Buitenhuys, Vice-Chair Kevin Dillon, Commissioner Perry Downs, Commissioner Marie Burns, and Commissioner Kristin Ross-Sitcawich voted unanimously to issue Standard Orders of Conditions for the City's Billerica Street culvert replacement (MassDEP 206-0848), which will replace a deteriorating 10-foot span with a 15-foot span over Marginal Brook and add 70 cubic feet of flood storage, and for Patrick Myers' addition at 35 Bowl Road Extension (MassDEP 206-0847). The commission voted unanimously to continue Residents First Development Corporation's Notice of Intent to February 25 pending receipt of a MassDEP number for the project to increase approved units from 181 to 187 at 165 Nelson Avenue and 33-113 Adie Way.
