Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of September 28, 2026

Lowell's Zoning Board of Appeals continued a variance hearing for a two-car garage addition to October 15. The board voted unanimously on September 28 after determining public notice signage was inadequate for the 37 West Albert Street hearing. Applicants Thuhong Vu and Danny Nguyen sought relief from side yard setbacks and Floor Area Ratio maximums for their proposed addition.

The board flagged five required conditions, including site and utility plans and shade trees, that would need to be addressed before a variance could be approved.
