LOWELL — License Commission approves 11 new business licenses and permits in May meeting. Chair Donahue and four commissioners unanimously approved three Common Victualler licenses, two all-alcoholic-beverages restaurant licenses, a Secondhand Goods license, and a Class 2 Used Auto Dealer License, along with five special event permits for wine sales. In compliance matters, the Commission found Blue Shamrock Inc. in violation of city alcohol beverage regulations 1.06, 1.16, and 1.20 and unanimously voted to suspend its all-alcoholic-beverages restaurant license for six consecutive days from June 1 through June 6.

Picante Entertainment Group Inc. d/b/a Tesco Center was placed on file without a finding for similar regulation violations.
