Lowell License Commission approves nine applications in unanimous votes. Commission Chair Donahue, Commissioner Mercier, and Commissioner Underwood voted 3-0 to approve special event licenses for Corey Belanger, Alaina Brackett, and Rachel Chandler covering nine separate events; a Common Victualler license for Yum Yum Daily Express MA LLC d/b/a Top Donut; a manager change for Tavern in the Square Lowell LLC; amendments to licenses for Lakeview Liquors Inc. and Masala Magic LLC d/b/a Taste of India; and continuance of a hearing for 1 East Meadow Road Inc. d/b/a A1 Food Mart to May 7. The commission also scheduled May 7 public hearings on applications by EKO's Bar & Grill Restaurant LLC and Aramark Educational Services LLC d/b/a LeLacheur Park, and a compliance hearing on allegations of misconduct against Picante Entertainment Group Inc. d/b/a Tesco Center.
