Lowell License Commission approves nine applications spanning carnivals, alcohol permits, and restaurants. Chair Joseph Donahue and Commissioners Cliff Krieger, Dennis Mercier, Andrew Taing, and Pamela Underwood unanimously approved permits for the February 28 WinterFest, two spring carnivals by Fiesta Shows running March 26 through May 31, multiple one-day alcohol licenses for religious events and public markets, Common Victualler licenses for Foodlosophy Restaurant and Tea-Do at 127 Merrimack Street, and a Class 2 Used Auto Dealer License for Parkview Holdings LLC at 1625 Middlesex Street with capacity for 100 vehicles. The board scheduled a public hearing for March 12 on a Wine and Malt Beverages package store license transfer application by 1 East Meadow Road Inc., d/b/a A1 Food Mart.
