LOWELL — License Commission approves six licenses, schedules February hearings. Lowell's License Commission on January 22 approved applications for a Common Victualler license for Pikadely Empanadas Y Mas at 378 Broadway Street and five special event licenses for wine and malt beverages at various venues, with Commissioner Dennis Mercier moving all approvals and the three-member quorum voting unanimously on each application. The Commission also approved an All Alcoholic Beverages Restaurant License for Lowell Asian Restaurant LLC at 369 Broadway Street, continued the hearing for a Sonesta Select Boston Lowell hotel license transfer to February 5, and scheduled February 5 hearings for Populus restaurant and On the Bun restaurant applications.
