Lowell Sustainability Council approves prior minutes amid governance debate. The council voted unanimously to approve January 22 meeting minutes and heard Katherine Moses, Sustainability Division Director, present 2026 priorities including Mass Save promotion and expanded environmental communications. The council tabled designation of its representative to a five-person judging panel for the LPS Student Presentation Competition, pending input from council member Jay Mason.
Council member Cormac Hondros-McCarthy resigned during the meeting, stating that division responses amounted to "pure lip service" regarding the council's limited governance authority.
