Lowell School Committee votes $369.6 million FY27 budget on line-by-line basis. Superintendent Liam Skinner presented proposals as the committee voted individually on 20 budget sections, transferring a $746,622 Lowell High School Student Support Specialist position to the suspense account and cutting $200,000 in contracted services from instructional materials and technology. Mr.
Bahou and Mr. Conway sponsored major reductions; the Director of Technology position was placed in abeyance. All votes passed 6-0 with Ms.
Martin absent and Mr. Lay joining by Zoom; the committee also cancelled its April 15 meeting.
